Begin with
Prayer
The easiest way you can partner with us is through prayer. Lesotho Mission believes that YOUR prayer can move mountains.
Matthew 17:20 says “Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
The best way to find out what our specific prayer needs are is to sign-up to our newsletter or to contact one of our missionaries.
Prayer Needs
We are continuously praying for the following things and we would love for you to partner with us in prayer as we continue to trust God for:
1. Local workers to come alongside the team on the ground.
Luke 10: 1-2 says “After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them on ahead of him, two by two, into every town and place where he himself was about to go. And he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into his harvest.”
2. Continued financial support for the missionaries and funding towards the work.
Psalm 90:17: “May the favour of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us—yes, establish the work of our hands”
3. Wisdom as we keep expanding reach and trust God to grow our influence in the Lesotho.
Isaiah 54:2-3 in the Message translation says: “Clear lots of ground for your tents! Make your tents large. Spread out! Think big! Use plenty of rope, drive the tent pegs deep. You’re going to need lots of elbow room for your growing family. You’re going to take over whole nations; you’re going to resettle abandoned cities. Don’t be afraid—you’re not going to be embarrassed. Don’t hold back—you’re not going to come up short.”
4. The spiritual battle.
Ephesians 6:12-13 declares “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”
Although we believe that God has already won the spiritual battle, we do believe we still face challenges on a daily basis. These spiritual battles we face can often lead to persecution. We need people that stand in the gap and declare God’s word until we can claim victory.
Become a
Partner
Partner with us as we aim to plant life-giving churches through the development of local leaders.
Step 1: Connect with us to let us know that you would like to partner with us
Step 2: Commit to the vision of Lesotho Mission to plant life-giving churches through the development of local Lesotho leaders, understanding that these churches that you are aiding to plant fall under the leadership and work of Lesotho Mission and not you as the church planting partner.
Step 3: Agree to undergo training by members of the Lesotho Mission team, following and promoting the theology, values and church planting methodology as per the material distributed to you during training.
Please never feel limited by your church’s resources, size, capacity or time constraints. Lesotho Mission will assist you in these trips with budgeting, advice and logistics. We will always find a way to win.

Brett & René got married in 2017 and relocated to Lesotho in September 2020. Both Brett & René grew up in Cape Town, South Africa where they worked for education-based NGO’s before serving on the staff team of Urban Edge Church.
They have one beautiful little girl named Lily, who is an absolute joy to be around.
Brett is an avid sports’ fan who loves to play and watch sports, specifically the Premier league and NBA. René is an avid learner and social runner who loves pajama days. Both are passionate coffee drinkers and believe that good coffee brings people together (come to Legacy to see how accurate this is). They are honored to call Legacy Church and Maseru home and are beyond excited to continue building God’s Kingdom in Lesotho.
You can partner with them by supporting them in prayer or contributing financially on a monthly or once-off basis.
